• Material and Surface Treatment: The housing of the filter is usually made of 304 or 316L stainless steel. These materials have excellent corrosion resistance. The inner and outer surfaces in contact with materials are usually treated with mirror polishing or electrolytic polishing to achieve very low surface roughness (such as Ra ≤ 0.2 μ m). This smooth surface can effectively prevent bacterial adhesion and growth, and is easy to thoroughly clean and sterilize.
• Hygiene Design: The structural design emphasizes no hygiene dead corners, adopts streamlined design, and can be equipped with quick opening clamps or hygiene grade flanges to ensure easy disassembly, cleaning, and sterilization of the equipment.
• Filtration accuracy and filter cartridge: The filtration accuracy range is wide, and different levels from coarse filtration (such as 5 μ m) to fine filtration (such as 0.22 μ m or even 0.01 μ m ) can be selected according to needs. There are various materials for filter cartridges, commonly including polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polypropylene (PP), etc. When used for sterilization filtration, PTFE material folding filter cartridges are usually selected, with an accuracy of 0.22 μ m or higher, which can effectively filter out bacteria.

Working principle and classification

Sanitary gas filter housings mainly use the physical barrier effect of the filter element for filtration. After entering the filter, the gas passes through the filter element, where impurities and microorganisms are trapped by the filter material, while clean gas is discharged through the outlet. According to specific functions and application scenarios, there are mainly the following types: -Compressed air filter: Used for processing compressed air, removing water, oil, and particles. – Steam filter : used to filter impurities in steam. -Sterilization/Respirator Filter: Used to ensure the sterility of gases entering the tank or sterile environment. -High pressure gas filter: Suitable for high-pressure working conditions.
